Jeff Baxter, Ph.D.

Dr. Baxter is a Project Director/Senior Consultant for Info Tech, concentrating his efforts in the areas of business damages, market concentration, personal injury, and general economic and statistical problems. Dr. Baxter has more than 15 years of experience as a consultant. He has performed numerous business and personal damage assessments and lent his economic expertise in many market concentration cases. He has provided analysis and guidance to utilities in such areas as strategic planning, forecasting, and pricing, and assisted in cases before public service commissions and in court, providing both testimony and analytical support. He has also provided analysis and testimony in personal injury cases.

Dr. Baxter completed his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in Economics from the University of Missouri at Kansas City, and received a Doctorate in Economics from the University of New Mexico. His areas of concentration were Econometrics and Natural Resources. He was an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, and served for more than eight years as a manager at a publicly-traded electric and gas utility company. He joined Info Tech in 2002.
