FieldManager Version 3.3a Now Available

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – April 21, 2003: After over a year of development, the highly anticipated release of FieldManager version 3.3a has arrived. Info Tech, Inc., and its co-developer, the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), released powerful new versions of all modules included in the FieldManager suite.

Coming directly on the heels of the 3.2 release, which introduced new functionality features and improved flexibility, Info Tech took the opportunity to implement some innovative software changes and upgrades. Notable enhancements include software migrations to Sybase® PowerBuilder® version 8 and Sybase Adaptive Server™ Anywhere version 7 database engine. Additionally, FieldManager 3.3a is certified for use on Windows® XP, a valuable trait not held by previous versions.

"FieldManager's capability and compatibility have been significantly extended and improved, while simultaneously laying the groundwork for future endeavors," said Joe Phelan, vice president of Sales and Marketing for Info Tech. "Version 3.3a is a result of combining updates based on user suggestions and internal development, which raises the bar for highway construction management software."
