Gainesville, Fla. – May 20, 2009: A new release of the FieldManager Contractor software will be available on July 31st, 2009. Like the product’s initial development, the new release features enhancements requested by users.
Some of the features of the new release include Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) tracking, additional prime and subcontractor reporting and the ability to show revenue on the foreman’s daily report. There are also some general workflow enhancements that were suggested via customer feedback forums.
FieldManager Contractor allows for contractors to receive read-only files from owner agencies to track project progress. In addition, it adds the ability to create discrepancy reports, establish subcontracts and calculate subcontractor payment reports, import Expedite Bid (.ebs) files, and compute the contractor’s daily profit.
The first release of FieldManager Contractor was issued in March of 2009 and the product received excellent responses from the user community.
“FieldManager Contractor has had such a positive response because it was developed with constant feedback and input from its intended users,” said Joe Phelan, vice president of marketing and sales for Info Tech, Inc. “The new release will be just as well-received because it is a continuation of that synergy.”
