Lecture Series

Bayard Wickliffe Heath Memorial Lecture Series at the University of Florida Levin College of Law

This lecture series was established in 2010 in honor of Bayard Wickliffe "Wick" Heath, a former member of Info Tech's consulting team. Mr. Heath was an invaluable member of the consulting team for nearly two decades and was innovative and passionate about his work in the antitrust arena. At the inaugural lecture where Professor Herbert Hovenkamp spoke about antitrust policy, Dr. McClave spoke about his colleague stating, "There were no eight hour days for Wick, whether he was working for a state agency or for Info Tech. He was an around-the-clock kind of guy once he got into a case." Since 2010, the Lecture series has been honored to have prestigious speakers address cutting edge topics in the field of antitrust. Dr. Leslie Marx, the Robert A. Bandeen Professor of Economics at Duke University, will be the keynote speaker for the lecture series on January 23, 2017.

Mr. Heath joined Info Tech in 1990 and served as Senior Antitrust Consultant for 18 years. Mr. Heath specialized in forensic economic transactional analysis, investigation and litigation support, and extensive use and development of tailored automated analysis systems. Prior to joining Info Tech, Mr. Heath was a prosecuting attorney for 14 years, the last eleven years of which were devoted to the investigation and litigation of public purchase bid rigging conspiracies.

The Heath Memorial Lecture Series is made possible by gifts from Inez Heath, Ph.D., widow of Bayard "Wick" Heath and the Robert F. and Patricia J. Lanzillotti Family Fund. For further information on this lecture series, please contact William Page at the Levin College of Law at the University of Florida.
